The Typhoon

One  of  the  strongest  storms  in  recorded  history,  Yolanda  as  they  call  it,  killed  somewhere  around  10,000  people.  Now  I've  only  been  to  one  natural  disaster,  so  I  don't  know  much.  Sandy  was  like  the  nice  girl  who  got  picked  on  Yolanda  because  she  was  to  small  and  took  her  glue.  Anyway,  it's  hard  to  try  to  imagine  what  it  must  have  been  like  to  sit  through  a  storm  like  that  but  even  worse  what  it  must  be  like  now.  There's  bodies  all  over  the  place,  bridges  sidewalks,  backyards.  The  people  are  going  crazy  looking  for  water  and  food.  There's  not  much  you  can  do  as  an  individual.  The  only  thing  I  can  do  is  learn  from  this  and  try  to  prepare  for  something  like  this.
